PR PHOTOGRAPHY
Photography is critical in promoting businesses and their products or services, so appreciating what will make an effective, newsworthy photograph and then executing it is part of what Dermot does to provide creative, usable images.
As a member of National Union of Journalists (NUJ) and working with some of Ireland's leading PR and marketing agencies, Dermot knows better than most what the media and clients want.
He consistently marries the needs of one to match the demands of the other, with considerable success.
When the IPPA organised a press photo-shoot for "Happy Faces Day" earlier this year, Dermot was selected by his peers (ahead of 400 other photographers) to handle the assignment. The result was photographs appearing in several national newspapers because of their creativity and newsworthiness.
Best Press & PR portfolio award for Dermot!!
On Sunday evening, the 18th of January 2009, Dermot won the award for the Best Press & PR portfolio at the RSA Irish Professional Photographers Association Awards beating some of the best in the business. This is a huge boost for Dermots' business as this is the national awards and is like the oscars of the photographic trade. It has also made a lot of his clients very proud to work with him as this also reflects on how well they view their own image. Never compromise on quality.
